MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — You may have noticed a certain color theme at the Minnesota State Fair today. A lot of people were wearing purple to celebrate Prince’s life.

“It takes a little edge off until you get inside,” he said.
The late musician’s impact was felt throughout the fair for “Unite in Purple” day. Hues of prince’s signature color stood out among the crowd, and many of the favorite fair food booths found ways to honor the late artist. For example, at Al’s Subs and Malts, every malt was showered in a purple rain of sprinkles.
