Omi, Paula Abdul, George Takei Among WE Day Minnesota Guests

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – WE Day is returning to Minnesota! The event will be held on Sept. 20 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

On Wednesday, organizers of the event announced some of the performers and speakers that will be in attendance.

Singer of the hit song "Cheerleader," Omi will perform. Popular YouTuber Lilly Singh, better known as Superwoman, will also be at the event.

Singer, dancer and reality TV star, Paula Abdul and George Takei will also be featured.

WE Day celebrates young people changing the world. Around 18,000 students earn their way into the event by doing service projects to help local and global communities.
