MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person injured.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, just before 2:15 a.m. officers were called to a person with a gun in a parking lot on the 400 block of Hennepin Avenue South.  While en-route, officers were told one person was shot.

Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering a gunshot wound. The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and was treated for his non-life threatening injury.

No suspect is in custody.

Police are currently investigating the shooting. First Precinct officers are reviewing cameras, and speaking with business owners and community members.

    Thank goodness mayor Betsy and Queen Janey have placed a moratorium on stopping or arresting black gang thugs downtown and in north Minneapolis. Encouraging them to lurk and spit as they select their victims attracts wealthy tourists and has a multiplier effect on the economy.
