Mpls. Police Investigate Shooting That Left 1 Injured

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person injured.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, just before 2:15 a.m. officers were called to a person with a gun in a parking lot on the 400 block of Hennepin Avenue South.  While en-route, officers were told one person was shot.

Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering a gunshot wound. The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and was treated for his non-life threatening injury.

No suspect is in custody.

Police are currently investigating the shooting. First Precinct officers are reviewing cameras, and speaking with business owners and community members.
