SPFD: Dog Killed In House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The St. Paul Fire Department says a dog was killed Tuesday afternoon in a house fire.

Authorities believe the fire started in the kitchen of a home on the 600 block of Fuller Avenue, which was first noticed by a passerby who saw smoke coming out the home's windows.

The fire was put out just before 1:30 p.m. No people were home at the time of the blaze. SPFD is investigating.
