'The Best Experience In Any Stadium': The Delta Sky360 Club
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Some Vikings fans got to see the team before the game even started. It's part of a fan experience many say is unmatched anywhere else.
Fans inside the Delta Sky360 Club raved the experience inside starts well before the game. The team walks right through a sea of purple to the field.
"It's a hot ticket, it's definitely a hot ticket," fan Trevor Deyo from North Dakota said.
Even before the game starts, the route players take is right through eager fans awaiting autographs.
"Really cool," Saheim Ali said.
His dad Sadak added, "I just came here so we are closer to the locker room, I don't care about the price this is the best experience in any stadium."
It's the area made famous when Adrian Peterson hobbled through the Delta Sky360 Club after being injured during a game last month.
Fans embrace how close they can get to the players, said Janet Olawsky who snapped a picture with Captain Munnerlyn.
"It's the best, nothing better," Olawsky said.
To add to the fan experience, food and drinks inside the 16,455 square foot lounge are included in the ticket price. But mostly, people who bleed purple and gold shell out for this destination for one reason.
"It makes the experience so much better than just showing up for a game, to be able be down here and be this close to the players, fantastic," fan John Sambuco of Florida said.
"Just the environment, you feel like you're part of the team," fan Kelly Bellamy said.
Having exclusive access to the player's tunnel is totally unique.
"These guys come through, they huddle up here, they give a little bit of a rally cry to themselves and head out on the field," Deyo said.
Fans say, along with being able to see their favorites, they hope they pump the players up.
