MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says alcohol is a suspected factor in a serious ATV crash in Dassel Township.

The sheriff’s office received a report Wednesday of the ATV accident with injuries on 745th Avenue, south of Highway 12.

An investigation revealed the ATV was traveling northbound on 745th Avenue when the operator, 48-year-old Daniel Miller of rural Dassel, lost control and flipped the ATV over.

The sheriff’s office says Miller wasn’t wearing a helmet. He was taken to the Meeker Memorial Hospital via ambulance before being airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Alcohol and atv, as common as toilet, and toilet paper. The first persistently, in the wrong scenario.

  2. Dan Mack says:

Alcohol related deaths and serious injuries are socially acceptable. Our DFL legislators here in the Socialist Welfare Village promote alcoholism to young impressionable children in the public stadiums by indelibly imprinting the use of the alcohol we sell there with the healthy image of sports. Alcoholism is the future of Minnesota. Get your children started on alcohol early. Give them a head start. Check out our ads in CCzero’s “Mikes Mix” column for recopies and flavorings so the children can swallow the toxic alcohol without the normal vomit reflex.

That ending sentence, is perfectly written.

Spot on Dan. We need to ban all mind altering drugs including alcohol immediately. This includes those personality disorder drugs. I stand with you in opposing any artificial means to control a persons behavior. As gay men the attempts to cure our “gayness” through the use of some of these mind altering drugs needs to stop. Keep up the good work. The movement is with you.

Dan you fool you. If you can’t control your urges and stay away from the juice, you are one weak minded individual. People like you soak up social programs and cost us lots of tax dollars. Why don’t you go back in the closet and stay sober.

Okay, I realize Dan’s comments at first are sarcasm, with actual reality, but I’m trying to figure out if yours is also sarcasm. Surely, you do recognize sarcasm?
