Suspect Sought In St. Croix County Bank Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are looking for a suspect in connection with a bank robbery in western Wisconsin Thursday morning.

The Woodville Police Department and St. Croix County Sheriff's Office responded to a bank robbery just after 10 a.m. at Citizen's State Bank at 140 S. Main Street in Woodville, which is located just east of Baldwin. Authorities say a suspect entered the bank and pointed a long gun at a teller before taking an undisclosed amount of money.

Authorities say the suspect then fled the bank and was wearing a yellow construction type vest, ski mask and camouflage baseball hat. Authorities believe the suspect left the bank in an older model silver station wagon.

Anyone with information about the incident or who may know the suspect is asked to call the Woodville Police Department at (715) 698-2169 or (715) 386-4701. Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
