Sheriff: Sgt. Injured In Crash While Responding To Call
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A police sergeant was injured in a crash that occurred as she was leaving a motorist assist call Friday morning.
Sgt. Ann Klein was clearing the call and was attempting to turn around and go north on State Highway 4 when the crash occurred, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Anthony Welle, 80, was driving south on the highway.
Kleina, Anthony and Barbara Welle, 77, were transported to Melrose Hospital. Klein was treated and released.
