MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A body found in Dunn County over the weekend is believed to be that of a man that went missing in early 2006.

According to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, just before 9 a.m. Sunday the Dunn County Communications Center received a call that some hunters had found human remains in the northern part of the county.

Upon meeting the hunters, investigators and the Medical Examiner processed the remains.

Based upon where the body was found and the scene, officials believed that was Douglas L. Poach. Poach who was last seen on Jan. 3, 2006.

The body was transferred to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. DNA testing also will be completed. Authorities said it will take at least 30 days to get a positive identification of the body.
