MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Vice President Joe Biden will be in Duluth Friday, campaigning alongside U.S. Representative Rick Nolan.

Nolan is locked in a battle with Republican Stewart Mills for the 8th district.

The Republican Party of Minnesota issued a statement regarding Biden’s visit, saying, in part, the move was to help prop up Nolan’s campaign.

“First, a desperate ad that received an “F” truth-test rating, and now Joe Biden. But none of it will cover up Nolan’s extreme liberal record and out of touch ideas for the people of the 8th district,” the statement read.

Biden and Nolan will host an event at at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m.

The liberal attacks on Mills are pure sleaze.
