Veterans Day Discounts And Freebies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Friday is Veterans Day.

To commemorate veterans' service and honor them, several restaurants and businesses are offering up some discounts and freebies.

Some restaurants offering free or discounted meals include:

Applebees: All veterans and active duty military eat for free on Friday, Nov. 11. There will be seven entrees to choose from and veterans and military members will also receive a $5 off coupon. Military ID required.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans and military members receive a free order of wings and side of fries. Military ID required.

Cantina Laredo: Veterans and active military can eat for free up to a $15 value. Military ID required.

Famous Daves: A free two meat combo platter served with a side and corn bread muffin will be free for veterans and military members.

IHOP: From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. red, white and blue pancakes are free.

Little Caesars Pizza: Veterans and military members can choose between a free pizza or hot-n-ready lunch combo. The deal is good from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Military ID required.

Olive Garden: A free entrée from a special menu will be provided. Military ID required.

Perkins: Participating restaurants are offering veterans and service members a free Magnificent Seven meal. Beverages are not included. Military ID required.

Red Robin: A free Tavern Double and Bottomless Steak Fries for all guests with a military ID.

Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and service members will get to choose a fee entrée from a special menu.

Other deals for veterans include free haircuts at Great Clips and Sports Clips and free oil change at Meineke Car Care Centers around the metro.

Additionally, vets can also get into all national parks for free.
