Chris Kluwe Tweets 'Karma's A Nasty Lady' After Walsh Release

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh was released on Tuesday, and a former teammate of his had something to say about it on Twitter.

Walsh has had his struggles since missing a potential game-winning field goal against Seattle in the playoffs last season. He leads the NFL with four missed extra points this year and is 12-of-16 on field goals.

The Vikings released him on Tuesday, and former punter Chris Kluwe took to Twitter shortly after. He posted a tweet saying, "Karma's a nasty lady."

While we can't be 100 percent sure, it's hard to ignore that the tweet could be linked to Kluwe's departure from the Vikings in 2012. That was Walsh's rookie season. Kluwe was released that year and made public accusations that it was largely because of his political views. It was also after he called his coach, special teams coach Mike Priefer, a "bigot" after controversial comments made during a practice.

While Priefer faced discipline for the incident, Walsh came to his defense and made it known that Kluwe was isolated in his opinions.
