Chaska Police: Missing Man May Be Suicidal

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Chaska police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 50-year-old man.

James Young was reported missing by his family on Thursday.

Police believe Young may be out to harm himself, and may be in or near one of downtown Chaska's lakes. They do not believe Young is a threat to public safety.

He is described as a white man who stands 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray shirt, a gray knit jacket and red and gray tennis shoes. He may also be wearing a baseball cap.

Anyone with information about Young is urged to call 952-448-4200, or 911.
