Patrol: Man Dead After Being Hit By Car In Hubbard Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 45-year-old man is dead after he was hit by car early Sunday morning in northern Minnesota.

The State Patrol said the collision happened shortly after midnight on Highway 200 near Laporte in Hubbard County.

A GMC Acadia was traveling east on the highway when it struck a pedestrian on the left shoulder who was walking away from a Chevy Venture that had crashed into the median.

The driver of the GMC was not injured.

The name of the victim has yet to be released.
