$5K Reward Offered For Information In Lakeland City Hall Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are offering a reward for anyone with credible information in the fire that destroyed a new city hall just outside the Twin Cities.

On the night of Nov. 13, a fire consumed the Lakeland City Hall building, which was still under construction. Investigators deemed the fire suspicious, as the construction project was very controversial in the local community.

Now, the Washington County Sheriff's office says an arson investigative group is offering $5,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case. They believe the fire was set intentionally.
