MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Two people are in custody in connection with the shooting death of a Prior Lake man.

The shooting led to a police chase early Wednesday morning. It ended in Edina with officers shooting a third suspect. That person is hospitalized, but their condition is not known.

On Thursday, a 27-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were jailed on suspicion of murder.

Police say 42-year-old James Herron was killed at his home in Prior Lake.
