4 Things To Know: Holidazzle Returns, Hurricane Otto & More

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- From Donald Trump working on Thanksgiving to the Holidazzle returning to Loring Park, here are the four stories to know from Friday, Nov. 25.

Donald Trump On Thanksgiving

President-elect Donald Trump celebrated Thanksgiving with his family in Palm Beach Florida. Trump tweeted that he was "working hard, even on Thanksgiving." He's trying to persuade Carrier - an air conditioning company - to keep 1,400 jobs in the US, instead of moving them to Mexico.

Florence Henderson

One of America's favorite TV mom has died. Florence Henderson got her start in show biz on Broadway as a teenager in the 50s. But it was her role as Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch that propoelled Henderson to stardom. She died from heart failure last night in Los Angeles surrounded by family and friends. She was 82 years old.

Hurricane Otto

The National Hurricane Center says Otto was the southernmost hurricane on record to hit Central America. It came ashore as a category 2 storm, packing 110 mile per hour winds and heavy rain just north of the Costa Rican border. People in the area are still bracing for flooding and mudslides.

Holidazzle Returns

Loring Park turns into a winter wonderland Friday for the 2016 Holidazzle! The free outdoor festival features things like ice skating, movie nights, food, and Santa Claus. Tonight, you can catch fireworks starting at 6:30. Holidazzle runs every Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 23.
