Police Say North Mankato Apartment Fire Is Suspicious

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in North Mankato are investigating a fire at an apartment complex early Thursday morning that they say is suspicious.

The North Mankato Police Department and Fire Department were called at about 12:18 a.m. Thursday to a report of a fire at Koppen Garden's Apartment Complex at 615 Nicollet Avenue. When authorities arrived, they found two separate fires in the building on two separate floors.

Authorities say several tenants had to be evacuated from the building. Nobody was injured in the fire and all tenants were eventually able to return.
