Excellent Educator: Washburn High School's Nancy Lee

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – This week's Excellent Educator is a teacher at Washburn High School in Minneapolis who helped transform the school's music program.

Nancy Lee is the director of vocal music and drama at Washburn.

Prior to her arrival, the school went 17 years without a musical.

Now, Lee' passion for building fine arts programs caught WCCO's eye, and even the eye of the Grammy's and the Tony Awards.

Lee's dedication to bringing new experiences to Minneapolis schools is what makes her an Excellent Educator.
