HCMC Takes Their Safety Message To The Front Lines

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Construction crews working on Hennepin County Medical Center's new Clinic and Specialty Center at 8th Street and Chicago Avenue are getting regular visits from health care workers.

It's part of the hospital's Bend and Stretch Program, where once a month they meet with Mortenson Construction workers and go over safety and talk about health.

Last week, staff from the burn unit came by to warn them of frostbite after seeing a drop in the forecast.
