Researchers: 1-Hour Afternoon Nap Could Improve Brain's Performance

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You probably don't get the chance to take an afternoon nap at work, but it could help improve your performance.

Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania found that a short afternoon nap improves thinking and memory skills. It actually helps the brain perform like it was 5 years younger.

The researchers found that an hour nap worked the best. Researchers found that people who had longer or shorter rests than an hour performed significantly worse.
