Tow Cables Snap Trying To Pull Truck Out Of Ice

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A truck went through the ice at Gray's Bay in Lake Minnetonka.

Hennepin County deputies say a man drove out on the lake and hit a "pressure ridge", which caused the ice to crack underneath his truck. It took a while for deputies to get the truck out of the water. Some of their cables snapped while trying to pull the truck out.

The driver didn't suffer any injuries.
