State Patrol Investigating Fatal Semi Crash In Central Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash after a semi truck went off the road in central Minnesota Saturday.
According to State Patrol, a Freightliner tractor trailer was westbound on Interstate 94 1 mile east of Highway 71 in Sauk Centre when it left the roadway. The truck then struck some trees.
The driver of the semi, 61-year-old James Joseph Peifer, was killed in the crash.
