Dayton Recovering After Prostate Surgery; 'No Sign' Cancer Has Spread
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Gov. Mark Dayton is recovering after surgery to remove his prostate.
Dayton revealed he had prostate cancer earlier this year after fainting during a speech.
After being advised on his treatment options, the governor decided to have his prostate removed.
The governor took to Facebook and said Thursday's operation was a success.
"The other, very good news was the surgeon found no sign that the cancer had spread outside the prostate," Dayton said.
