MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Some people may think a good night’s sleep is priceless, but is it as good as winning the lottery? British researchers say yes!

Researchers at the University of Warwick studied the sleep patterns of more than 30,000 people over a four-year period.

They say a good night’s sleep helps improve your mood in a way similar to winning a jackpot of about $250,000.

The lead researcher improving the quality and amount of sleep would help improving society’s health and well-being.
