Police Investigate After Threat Briefly Prompts School Containment

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in Forest Lake are investigating after a threat posted on social media prompted a school containment Friday morning.

Authorities say Forest Lake High School went into containment around 9:30 a.m.

Students were kept in classrooms until police informed the district there was no imminent threat. The containment was lifted 30 minutes later.
