MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — No one was hurt after a boat fire on Prior Lake Thursday night,
According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, just after 7 p.m. deputies received several calls of a boat on fire on Prior Lake.READ MORE: Monday Will Be Season's Coldest Yet, With Flash Freeze Causing Icy Commute
Upon arrival, officers found a 2008 Runabout fully engulfed in flames.
The boat was owned by a Prior Lake resident and had five occupants. All five people were able to safely evacuate the boat, being aided by other boaters on the lake.READ MORE: MnDOT Brings In Extra Crews Ahead Of Icy Monday Morning Commute
Two suffered minor burns and were treated on the scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. However, no foul play is suspected.
