At the same time Krautkremer was decelerating, a Ford F-350 Super Duty, driven by 33-year-old Christopher Michael Wendt, was approaching behind the Camaro.

Wendt overturned and came to rest on the roof in the right ditch.

The Camaro came to rest facing northbound in the right ditch. Krautkremer was declared dead on the scene.

Wendt suffered non-life threatening injuries.

It is unknown if alcohol was involved in the crash.

The State Patrol is currently investigating.
