State Patrol: 1 Dead In Motorcycle Vs. Semi Head-On Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead after a head-on crash involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck Wednesday night near Hutchinson.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the fatal crash happened on Highway 7 and Vale Avenue at about 5:11 p.m.
According to patrols, a motorcycle, driven by 26-year-old Justin John Nowak of Mayer, was traveling westbound on Hwy. 7 near Vale Avenue when he crossed over the center line and was struck head-on by an eastbound semi-truck, driven by 55-year-old Daniel McBride from Watertown.
Nowak was killed in the crash,
McBride was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
