Survey: US Employees No Longer Workin' 9 To 5
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Unlike Dolly Parton sang, U.S. workers aren't "workin' 9 to 5" anymore.
A new study by CareerBuilder shows that 61 percent of workers in the U.S. think the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. workday is a thing of the past.
Fifty-two percent of workers said they're checking and responding to emails outside of work, so the workday never really ends.
