Sheriff: Alcohol Likely A Factor In Northern Minn. ATV Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An ATV crash in northern Minnesota left a 21-year-old man with serious injuries Saturday afternoon.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Dakota Voight was airlifted to St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth after his ATV rolled while he was attempting to climb a steep hill in Alborn around 2:45 p.m.

The sheriff's office said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, and Voight was not wearing a helmet. He is in stable condition at St. Luke's.
