Fire Officials: Gas Leak Shuts Down Busy Bloomington Road
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Bloomington Fire Department says an area of the city was shut down after a major gas leak Friday.
Fire officials say a gas line was cut near the intersection of Normandale Boulevard and Toledo Road just before 12:30 p.m.
Normandale Boulevard was closed from 84th to 94th streets for about 90 minutes as CenterPoint Energy crews repaired the line.
No one was hurt, and no homes were affected.
