MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s a proud day for us at WCCO.

Five of our co-workers received the highest military award the Minnesota National Guard presents to civilians. They were recognized for their work in support of the National Guard.

Jason DeRusha, Gulf War veteran Reg Chapman, Bill Hudson, and photojournalist Tom Aviles received the Superior Volunteer Service Medal. Pat Kessler received the Superior Civilian Service Award.
