MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Traffic is returning to normal after a semi fire on Interstate 94 east of St. Paul Monday morning.

The incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on westbound I-94 near Century Avenue in Maplewood.

The entire westbound side of the interstate was shut down while crews put out the fire and cleaned things up.

As of 7:40 a.m., two lanes were re-opened after the fire.

There has been no word on injuries.
