MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A family of six is in need of help after a fire tore through their home in the east Metro.
It happened early this morning on 57th Street North in Lake Elmo. Firefighters responded to the home engulfed in flames.
It took roughly 6 hours to put the fire out. Everybody made it out of the house and nobody was injured. The Red Cross will help the family with long-term recovery planning.
Fire officials haven’t yet said what caused the fire.
