HP Recalling 50K Products After Battery Fires

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- HP is recalling 50,000 of it's products because the batteries inside can catch fire.

The issue is with the lithium-ion batteries for HP notebook computers and mobile workstations.

Batteries can overheat, catch fire and burn people.

HP says a replacement can fixed the problem and they will do it for free.

The company says you can't do it yourself.
