Police Try Using Emoji Sign To Slow Speeding Drivers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A town in Indiana is trying something new and unique to stop speeding drivers.

The Danville Metropolitan Police Department installed a "Digital Driver Feedback" speed sign along a stretch of street, notorious for speeders.

After seeing how fast you're going, you'll get an emoji of either a smiley face or a frowning face.

It also records the time of day drivers are speeding the most.
