Man Nearly Drowns In Minneapolis Lake

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning in Minneapolis.

Hennepin County Water Patrol pulled the man out of the water at Bde Maka Ska's Thomas Beach Sunday afternoon.

He was then taken to an area hospital.

It's unclear how he's doing or the extent of his injuries, but Hennepin County investigators say they believe he will survive.
