Police Free Bear Cub's Head From Plastic Globe

POLK COUNTY, Wis. (WCCO) -- Another bear has been rescued after Polk County Police removed a plastic globe from a cub's head.

The Polk County Sheriff's Department posted a photo of Officer Tamara Larson and Sgt. Brent Waak carefully removing the globe, while they say a "very stressed out momma bear" was kept a safe distance away.

According to a Facebook post, several citizens also helped with the rescue efforts.
