White Bear Lake PD, FD Rescue Deer After It Falls Through Thin Ice
WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (WCCO) -- The White Bear Lake Police Department posted photos of an emergency responder saving a deer after it fell through thin ice Sunday.
Police say firefighters were called to help the doe, while a buck watched and waited nearby.
The firefighter succeeded in rescuing the doe and she was able to run "off to freedom."
