Sheryl Williams Crowned 2019's Klondike Kate

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The St. Paul Winter Carnival named its new Klondike Kate Wednesday night: Sheryl Williams of Welch Township.

"Oh my gosh, it feels so good, I can't even tell you how good it feels," Williams said. "It's just amazing it's like a dream come true, I just can't believe it."

WCCO's own Reg Chapman emceed Wednesday night's event. The St. Paul Winter Carnival runs January 24 through February 3.
