Beltrami Co. Deputies Investigate After Human Remains Found

BEMIDJI, Minn. (WCCO) — Beltrami County Sheriff officials have arrested one person as part of a death investigation.

Officials say human remains were found at an apparent crime scene west of Bemidji.

They say there is no threat to the public.

The identity of the victim has not been confirmed.

The investigation continues with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
