'No Wonder Why I Am On The Hitlist': Furor At W. Virginia Capitol Over Anti-Muslim Flyer Featuring Rep. Ilhan Omar

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An anti-Muslim poster featuring Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar caused an uproar Friday at the West Virginia State Capitol.

The poster likens Omar to the 9/11 terrorists. It was displayed in the rotunda of the capitol on West Virginia GOP Day.

During an argument over the poster, witnesses say Sergeant at Arms Anne Lieberman called all Muslims terrorists. She resigned Friday night.

A Democratic representative faces possible punishment after kicking in a door in anger and hurting someone on the other side.

"When we've got doorkeepers going nose to nose with members, sergeant at arms going nose to nose with members, we have created an anger that I've never witnessed in 23 years in this body and it sickens me. It absolutely sickens me," said Del. Mike Caputo, (D) Marion, West Virginia.

Rep. Omar tweeted about the situation Friday evening.
