Minneapolis Firefighters Knock Down Flames In Boarded-Up Home In Uptown
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Fire crews in Minneapolis knocked down a house fire Friday morning near Bde Maka Ska.
The Minneapolis Police Department says crews responded around 8 a.m. to a fire at a boarded-up single-family home on 1700 block of West Lake Street, in the city's busy Uptown neighborhood.
It took crews about a half hour to extinguish the flames. No one was in the building, and no firefighters were hurt battling the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
