MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Investigators at the St. Paul Fire Department are looking into who started 12 fires over Memorial Day weekend.
Many of the fires were in the Macalester-Groveland, Merriam Park and Midway neighborhoods. Investigators say a play area on Juliet Avenue was burned, as well as a shed on Jefferson Avenue.
The fires were started between 11 p.m. Sunday and 4:50 a.m. Monday. Fire officials say most were started in dumpsters.
Anyone with information about these fires, or who captured video footage with security cameras, is asked to call the Arson Hotline at 1-800-723-2020.
