Child Fatally Shot In Heron Lake Home

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A child is dead after they were shot in a Heron Lake home on Wednesday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said.

The office says it responded to a 911 call for an injured child.

The child was transported to the Windom Area Hospital where they later died, the office said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
