Accused Minneapolis ISIS Fighter Tells His Story To CBS News
In a CBS News exclusive, an ISIS fighter from Minneapolis is sharing his story from inside a Syrian prison.
Abdelhamid Al-Madioum says he was recruited on Twitter. He went to Syria in 2015 hoping to become a doctor and claims he was never an ISIS fighter.
Abdel wants to return home to the U.S. where he says FBI agents told him he could face 15 years in prison.
