An Ode To Minnesota's January Thaw
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- January is statistically the coldest month of the year in Minnesota.
And yet, ironically with temperatures in the 30s, we find ourselves in the middle of a "January Thaw."
So we asked our Chief Meteorologist -- and resident poet laureate -- Chris Shaffer to help make sense of this annual phenomenon. Watch him take wonderful poetic license in the video above!
