Xcel: Power Restored After Thousands Affected In Wright Co.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Xcel Energy has restored power to its customers in Wright County after thousands lost power for about fifteen minutes Wednesday morning.
At the peak of the outage, about 6,300 customers were impacted, according to Xcel Energy.
Officials say there was a transmission issue that is still under investigation. Xcel was able to use a backup transmission to restore power to its customers.
