Man In Hospice Care Makes Final Family Visit To The Minnesota Zoo

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota man made an extra special trip to the Minnesota Zoo over the weekend.

Stephen Poedy, of St. Cloud, is currently in hospice care. He visited the zoo Saturday morning. He wanted to go there one more time with his grandkids.

They've shared nice memories there several times. Poedy particularly wanted to see the zoos' Tropical Reef.

"I wanted to see the underwater stuff," he said. "I used to have a fish tank, a saltwater tank. I can't physically do that anymore, but I can enjoy other people's fish tanks."
